Experience: Wally spent 16 years as public defender
for Umatilla and Morrow Counties in Oregon. As Public Defender, Wallace
specialized in defense of sex crimes, yet handled thousands of cases in
all categories and degrees, misdemeanors and felonies, from traffic, to
murder and homicide. In addition, Wallace handled thousands of juvenile
cases, delinquency, dependency and termination of parental rights.
Following his years as a public defender, Wally spent 16 years in
private practice handling criminal defense, family law, dissolutions,
personal injury, medical malpractice, conservatorships, guardianships,
wills and estates, and probate. He is an experienced litigator having
prepared and tried hundreds of trial cases both criminal and civil.
Other: Wally is a trained and experienced mediator.
He is a member of the Umatilla County, and Washington County Bar
Associations, as well as the Oregon State Bar.
Publications: Wally co-authored a book on debtor’s
rights, Stop Collection Harassment.
